Where to eat in Singapore: East Coast Lagoon Food Village

I could never be a food blogger because I usually eat my food too quickly to get a picture in time...
That said, Singapore really is a foodie's paradise and my best local fare to date has been at East Coast Park, so I really felt I needed to share this gem with you all!

Getting there

Most places in Singapore are very easy to get to by MRT (the tube equivalent here). East Coast is a little further away so we have always gone by bus from our home in Geylang. I would recommend checking local bus routes or getting a Grab or Uber as even on the bus it's a 10 minute walk to the food court itself.

Hotel Stripes, Autograph Collection in Kuala Lumpur

Last weekend I had the absolute privilege of visiting the beautiful Kuala Lumpur for the first time. My flight to Malaysia was from the UK with British Airways, which I got for a reasonable price from Skyscanner - my go-to site for flight deals.

For this trip we booked Hotel Stripes through Booking.com because it was very reasonably priced for a 5* hotel and looked absolutely stunning!

Stunning it was... this has to be one of the best looking hotel rooms I have stayed in.
