With Christmas around the corner I am totally in the spirit already. At this time of year I always seem to find things I would quite like myself whilst shopping for my friends and family, so I thought it was a great time to share all the gorgeous travel-themed gifts I am eyeing up!

Whether they are about to head off on their own amazing adventure or spend a lot of time on the road for work, I am sure there will be something in my wish list that will make the traveller in your life smile this Christmas. Every gift in this guide is under £20 and some are under £10.

Gifts for travel lovers: under £20

Inspirational Travel Guide

If you know someone who is always talking about the next place they want to visit then you can't go wrong with my first suggestion. I flick through my 36 hours in Europe book at least once a week, dreaming of all the amazing places I'd like to visit.

Coming in at under £20, this book is beautifully illustrated with maps of different cities as well as travel pics and looks so gorgeous on your coffee table. Buy it here.

Personalised Passport Cover

Another gift I got my other half with a meaningful quote on it last year is this absolutely stunning passport cover, again from Not on the High Street.

It's amazing quality and I can tell it's one of his favourite gifts he has ever received! Men are notoriously hard to buy for and I think this makes a lovely special present as you can put anything you like on it. I chose some meaningful song lyrics but the options are endless.

Watch out for special discount events on Not on the High Street, but even full price it is only £20 including delivery and I was amazed at the quality when it arrived.

Gifts for Travel Lovers: under £15

Eye Mask

Anyone who takes long haul flights regularly will appreciate a thoughtful gift to make those tiring journeys that little bit easier.

I was recently sent an eye mask to try from Bedtime Bliss as they noticed I had been raving about the benefits using a mask on my recent flight home from Japan. What an upgrade this was on my free mask from Emirates! It is lightweight and contoured nicely to fit your face - definitely a thoughtful gift for that frequent flyer.

The mask is just £8.90 and includes ear plugs which may also come in handy if you have noisy neighbours on your flight! Check it out on Amazon here.

Some of you may have seen this mentioned on my Black Friday guide so I was hesitant to include it again but I just had to as it's still such a bargain gift even at full price. This extremely highly rated camera tripod is only £11.99 and it comes with a nice carry case. It is so light and easy to transport and looks pretty smart as well. Anyone who loves to take travel photos will absolutely love this thoughtful gift.

Essential Oils

I am so in love with this travel survival gift set that I need to get it for myself ASAP - I can't believe it is only £11.50!

It is a set of roll on oils for different parts of a journey. I swear by my lavender oil roll on to get me through jet lag and I can guarantee any frequent traveller will be pleased with this thoughtful and different gift. Check it out here.

Travel Hairdryer

If you're like me and have hair the size of Monica's in Barbados then you just need your own hairdryer when you stay in a hotel.

The pathetic drying efforts of those provided by hotels are never enough and with hairdryers available as inexpensive but effective as this Babyliss dryer for just £14.99, this is a no-brainer gift to make someone's travels that little bit easier!
I hope you enjoyed this little gift guide and it has given you some inspiration to treat the traveller in your life... trust me, they will thank you!

  1. I love that quote on passport cover. So beautiful. Last year I got my boyfriend passport cover, because he didn't have one and travel pillow. This year we decided to buy something together for both of us.

    1. Thanks so much! He did love the gift and I thought it was something a bit different to include here. That's a lovely idea to buy something to do together or a present to share, that's what Christmas is all about. Thanks for reading, Melis

  2. I loved the 36 hours Europe books suggestion. I love kitchen table books.

  3. OK, so I love all of these ideas! but the top book would make me skint! hahaha

    1. Thanks love, yes I know what you mean haha. I have to stop myself opening it... I love flicking through though and saying wherever I stop on will be the next trip, that's the dream. I just wish Newcastle airport was a little bit better connected!
